WHAT IS A BARISTA?
A Barista is an expert at making espresso coffee, and a master of a variety of espresso based beverages. To be a good barista, a person must understand coffee and the espresso machines' purpose.

M*A*D Training Solutions is a speciality barista training company, with a client base including retail, restaurants, bars and coffee shops and the travel industry. M*A*D Training Solutions was founded by Jon Skinner, who has been working in the hospitality and leisure sector since 1981.

WHY 'MAKING A DIFFERENCE'?
Following a huge storm a Father and Son were walking along a beach where hundreds of Starfish had been washed ashore, the little boy picked up a Starfish and threw it back into the sea.
The Father could see the enormity of the task and commented, you'll never make a difference to this lot. The little boy picked up another Starfish and threw it back into the sea, commenting back "I made a difference to that one".
